Maidenhead Mosque Covid -19 Safety Update

Maidenhead Central Mosque – New additional Covid Restrictions – 30th December 2020*
اسلام عليكم و رحمة الله
The Islamic Trust Maidenhead held a meeting this evening to discuss the deteriorating Covid 19 situation in our community.
In the last week the infection rate has reached 550 cases per 100,000 people in Windsor & Maidenhead.
Due to the serious nature of the issues and a real risk to our community, The Trust has decided the following changes will take effect from Fajr Salah on Friday 1st January: –
– *Anyone Over the age of _60_ & under _16_ should Not attend the Mosque.*
*- Anyone with underlying health conditions (diabetes, heart disease, asthma etc.) should Not attend.*
– *Anyone shielding, living with elderly or high risk group should Not attend.*
– * To reduce the risk to those attending, the mosque capacity is being reduced so attending without a booking, will not guarantee a space so we encourage you to kindly ensure you book a slot.*
* If you need to book a slot, please text 07973 921327. You will be given a booking number to confirm your place*
Please note that All booking made prior to the 23rd December are No longer valid and new bookings must be made.
The risk continues to increase on a *daily basis* so it’s *paramount* that the whole community follows and supports these measures.
The situation is being reviewed on a daily basis and any further temporary changes will be communicated.
Jazak’Allah Khair for your continued support and understanding.
