Quran & Hadith classes

The mosques offer weekday after school Arabic classes for young children to learn and recite the Holy Quran, a new class of 5pm to 6.30pm has been implemented to allow children to freshen up and rest after they finish school so they can focus more attentively when they arrive.

RULES

Registration is taken promptly at 5pm of all pupils.  Any pupils arriving late are marked as such and can be kept behind after class to catch up on missed work. Pupils returning after an unauthorised absence will be kept behind after class to catch up on missed work.

The classes have been restructured. Children will be designated a class according to their ability to read with correct pronunciation.

The classes for junior pupils are taught in a collective class environment with individual assistance at intervals which allows for enhanced teaching and Inshallah with your corporation we will achieve successful results.

The pupils are required to adopt an Islamic dress code when attending the Masjid.

Boys will be required to wear a white Jubba with a black Cap.

Girls will be required to wear a black Jilbab.

STRUCTURE

Maidenhead mosque has recruited a highly respected and qualified teaching team. The classes are as follows:

  • G1-(Girls) Ahsanul Qawaid class taught by Mrs Hashmi
  • G2-(Girls) Quran and Islamic Studies taught by Mrs Azam
  • B1-(Boys) Ahsanul Qawaid class taught by Hafiz Riaz Sahib
  • B2-(Boys) Paras 1 – 5 and Islamic Studies taught by Allama Hashmi Sahib
  • B3-(Boys) Quran and Islamic Studies taught by Dr Saleem Sahib

Weekly Urdu classes which will be taught in all classes on FRIDAYS. The teaching staff are available at the end of every lesson to discuss any issues you may have regarding the progress of your child’s education. Any other issues should be referred to the education committee.

DARS-E-QURAN

Allama Hashmi offers a ‘Dars-e-Quran’ (understanding the Holy Qur’an) session after fajar prayers in the mosque everyday.
The Mosques also intends inshallah to hold regular key events inviting leading scholars to give talks on Islam. The purpose is to educate Muslims about Islam.
