Visits & Tours

Maidenhead Mosque is one of the most recognised religious buildings in the Royal Borough. Throughout the year we receive visitors from various organisations and establishments who travel from all around Berkshire and the Thames Valley to see the mosque.

We receive a large number of visitors from schools, colleges and universities wishing to find out more about the workings of a mosque and the Islamic faith for projects and studies.

We also have a number of faith-based groups, organisational visits and tourists who visit the mosque wishing to further their understanding of Islamic lifestyle and worship.

We must have prior notice of at least two weeks for a visit so that we can make the necessary arrangements. We have three main hosts on hand to cater for groups of different ages.

A normal visit consists of :

  • A short welcome and introduction
  • talk by Imaam
  • Tour of the mosque building
  • Q&A or discussion session combined with a mini exhibition on Islam. Light refreshments and worksheets are also provided for younger visitors.

Maidenhead mosque warmly welcomes visitors from any background who wish to learn about Islam or about the Mosque, we have thousands of visitors travelling from near and afar.

All visits are FREE of charge, whether it is one person or 100 people feel free to email us at info@maidenheadmosque.org or call 07773230413, no guest ever leaves the Mosque empty handed.
